Client Objectives

  • To meet the client's objectives, we aim to create a larger usable space for storage needs. Additionally, we will fully insulate the area to accommodate any future changes, such as transforming it into a workshop or office.
  • Our approach allows for flexible specifications while staying within the allocated budget.

The Work. Building the store room

The primary residence comprises a detached house with an accompanying aged shed situated adjacent to it. Given that the original shed was not aligned with the main property, our construction was specifically designed in a triangular configuration to optimally fit the available space.

Following a series of extensive discussions and a meticulous site survey, precise plan drawings were developed and subsequently approved by the discerning customer.

The initial stage of site preparation involved the dismantling and removal of the existing shed, followed by the clearance of concrete slabs to facilitate the construction of robust and enduring concrete foundations.

The overall project duration amounted to 8 days, owing to the requisite site preparation and the substantial size of the structure. Notably, the specifications encompassed an insulated plywood finish and comprehensive electrical installations.

The client expressed immense satisfaction with the final outcome and is presently exploring the acquisition of an additional shed to cater to their expanding storage requirements.
