Garden Offices
Stable comfort for full working days, video calls and heat generated by computers and screens.
Hi I'm Kevin Tomlinson founder of Oakspan. I oversee every project personally to ensure your trust remains strong from our first conversation, room design, your build and handing over the keys.
With no sales team, the price and timeline I provide is the one I deliver. Real customer service means being large enough for efficiency but small enough for flexibility.
That's why Oakspan confidently provides a 10 year guarantee - with my name on it!
If you have any questions, please reach out. I'm happy to answer honestly and quickly.
Year-Round Garden Room Comfort
Keep your Oakspan comfortable through cold Scottish mornings, bright summer afternoons and everything between. One properly selected system provides heating and cooling, with straightforward control built around how you use the room.
Comfort Designed In
Insulation is the starting point. Oakspan builds the floor, walls and roof as a complete thermal envelope, helping the room hold a comfortable temperature and reducing the work required from the heating or cooling system.
For rooms used daily—or spaces containing exercise equipment, simulator technology, computers or wide areas of glazing—active climate control gives you more precise year-round comfort.
We plan the system with the room. Its output, position, power supply and pipe route can all be considered before construction is complete, avoiding the compromises that come with treating it as an afterthought.

Wall-Mounted Air Conditioning
The Terrel & Keyon range is Oakspan’s main wall-mounted option for garden offices, gyms, golf simulator rooms, studios, games rooms and larger multi-use spaces. It is available across a choice of capacities, with the final unit selected around the room size, insulation, glazing, equipment and expected occupancy.
Built Around Real Use
A quiet office does not have the same heat load as a gym or golf simulator. That is why Oakspan looks at what will happen inside the room, not just its external dimensions.
Stable comfort for full working days, video calls and heat generated by computers and screens.
Cooling for demanding workouts, with useful heat when the room is used on colder mornings.
Temperature control for larger spaces containing projectors, screens, computers and players.
Comfort for creative work, client appointments, hobbies and regular use throughout the year.
Cooling for groups, televisions, consoles and AV equipment without relying on open doors.
Flexible control for yoga, relaxation and rooms whose purpose changes across the week.
System Assessment
Choosing a system by floor area alone can miss the factors that change how a garden room gains and loses heat. Oakspan reviews the whole space before the final specification is agreed.
Floor area, ceiling height and the completed floor, wall and roof specification.
The amount of glass, where it faces and how direct sun may affect the room.
Occupancy, working hours, exercise, AV equipment and other internal heat sources.
Indoor-unit location, outdoor-unit position, condensate route, electrics and practical access.

Oakspan’s wall-mounted hot-and-cold climate-control option normally starts from £1,290 supplied and fitted. The final price depends on the selected output, installation route and room specification.
Yes. The system can provide warm air during colder periods and cooling when the room becomes too warm, giving you one control for year-round comfort.
No. The right choice depends on the room’s use, glazing, orientation, equipment and how often it will be occupied. Climate control is especially useful for daily-use offices, gyms, golf rooms and entertainment spaces.
Wi-Fi-ready options are available. The exact controls and app functions depend on the make and model selected for your room and will be confirmed with the final specification.
Oakspan considers the room size, insulation, glazing, orientation, occupancy and heat-generating equipment. The final system is selected after these requirements have been assessed.
It may be possible, but planning it during the room design usually allows the indoor unit, outdoor unit, electrical supply and pipework route to be positioned more neatly. Speak to Oakspan before the final specification is agreed.
